Quality and environment policy
In Metalseat we believe that the application of ethical principles, of equity and respect, of solidarity, of protection of the person, of sustainability and of environmental protection are indispensable for the lasting development of our company and of the world in which we live and for these reasons it is the need arose to implement and develop a Quality and Environmental Management System, whose macro-objectives are:
– Strive for continuous improvement, making sure of the goodness of the System and of Metalseat itself, through monitoring, constant evaluation and analysis of process performance;
– Promote the so-called risk-based thinking, i.e. the ability to analyze one’s own context, identifying those factors, whether internal or external, which have the capacity to cause damage to Metalseat and its interested parties or to promote their growth;
– Ensure health and safety in the workplace by doing the activities that fall within the duties of each Metalseat worker in the manner, on time, costs and performance, in the best possible way and with the utmost attention in compliance with the requirements and regulations in the field of health, safety and hygiene in the workplace;
– Provide all personnel with the information necessary to ensure that they operate consistently with this Policy and have the resources and training necessary to achieve this general objective;
– Consider the protection of the environment, health and safety in the workplace as basic aspects of their business, in each company sector.
From the belief that it is possible to significantly improve the processes of supplying the product to the customer, achieving the highest quality and optimizing the resources and efficiency of the staff employed, the need and the will to implement a Quality Management System was born, according to what is defined by the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard, whose objectives are:
– customer satisfaction orientation;
– compliance with applicable requirements;
– maintenance of the Quality Management System;
– adoption of the philosophy of continuous improvement.
Metalseat is convinced that it is essential:
– the commitment to comply with applicable laws and regulations on environmental matters and occupational health and safety;
– the commitment to the prevention of accidents and occupational diseases, minimizing accidents, injuries, occupational diseases and emergency situations with adequate prevention methods;
– safety as a result of the work of the entire organization, from top management to each worker, according to their level of competence and responsibility;
– the commitment to involve the responsible functions, including through the definition and dissemination of development objectives and related implementation plans;
– the commitment to training and training staff, to create and develop sensitivity to non-compliant or emergency situations;
– ensure the correct application of the technologies used, and, where possible, pursue the improvement of these technologies or the adoption of more advanced technologies from the point of view of quality, environment and safety;
– periodically check the skills of its staff and equipment, in order to guarantee the Customer and interested parties the full ability to comply with the explicit and implicit requirements;
– develop and develop measures and procedures necessary to prevent emergency situations and to contain their effects;
– the commitment to continuous improvement of the levels of safety and health of the workplace;
– the commitment to protecting the environment, including the prevention of pollution;
– the commitment to continuous improvement of the Management System according to the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015 and UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 standards.
Specifically, Metalseat identifies the following objectives:
– Reduction of the use of polluting vehicles by promoting the choice of means of transport with low environmental impact;
– Reduction of consumption through energy and thermal efficiency;
– Guarantee the constant commitment to separate waste collection;
– Raise awareness among partners in the protection of the environment and health and safety in the workplace;
– Use of materials from sustainable sources and encourage recycling.
The achievement of these objectives is measured by mainly quantitative indices as well as by the analysis of non-compliant situations, complaints and reports.
The Management, on the occasion of the periodic Reviews of the System and in collaboration with the System Manager, establishes the best company strategies aimed at the continuous evolution of the primary objectives and of its management system, plans the specific objectives and the commitments of the Policy and allocation of resources, thus promoting the dissemination of decisions made towards all personnel, ensuring that they are understood, shared and implemented at all levels.
This policy is made available to all interested parties both internal and external and is subject to periodic reviews and updates during the Management Review in order to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of what is reported therein.
It is therefore evident that this document is revised to incorporate legislative changes, social and stakeholder expectations, changes in the context, organizational, process and product changes.
